The metalwork is clean and the stamps are clear. On the metal frame beneath the cartridge chamber, near by the trigger, can be seen two serial numbers: one near by the front screw '4766', with two Waffen stamps, '3467' below a Waffen stamp, and "2965 etched onto the trigger guard itself. Going around centre of the metal frame is "DUV 41". Just left of this is the number "1269" and a Waffen stamp. The number '2689' is stamped on the left hand side of the barrel, the left part of the metal frame of the cartridge chamber is stamped 'Mod.98'. The rifle has been stamped with a large amount of proof marks, waffen stamps and serial numbers.

It comes with the deactivation certificate, dated. The leather is in great shape without any of the heavy cracking or wear. The sling is in overall very good condition.
